Best Hikes BC is a website dedicated to hiking and peakbagging in and around Southwest British Columbia and Northern Washington. Our readership is primarily made up of Canadians living on the west coast of Canada, as well as Americans living in the Washington area. 

The readers of Best Hikes BC are typically interested in learning about possible day hikes in the area, mostly focused on summiting mountains. Many of the readers here are intermediate to advanced hikers looking to learn about hikes and scrambles that go beyond the basic frontcountry trails, and as such are often looking for advice on outdoor gear recommendations, hiking safely in the backcountry, winter travel skills, off-road vehicle tips/safety and any other products and experiences relating to outdoor pursuits on the west coast.
